Vintage Pearl and Marcasite Brooch/Pendant

This is such a great value, quality vintage piece because it can be used both as a brooch and as a pendant. Pearls and marcasite are one of my favourite combinations because they work with anything.

Well balanced, unusual and very chic, this heavy silver brooch will bring a touch of glamour to your outfit every time you wear it. To wear as a pendant, just add a heavy silver chain or try a black or white silk or velvet ribbon - and attach to the loop on the back of the brooch behind the top petal.

Accessorising with a brooch this big is a great way to add interest to a classic outfit - wearing with your favourite LBD as a brooch or as a pendant, or an evening bag, perhaps holding a silk scarf or wrap in place, or even on a soft hat or beret.

Brooch measures approx 3.75" x 3" and holds 19 medium size pearls in the silver and marcasite setting.
